I don't think walking papers is the best solution for Kosovo. Downloading
(or deciding) what to print is rather bandwidth intensive and the mapper
needs to plan his route in advance. And without scanning & QR codes it
simply isn't "Walking Papers" as demo-ed at SOMT09.

Recording tracks and waypoints with a simple receiver and a notebook, then
editing with JOSM is pretty good. I did thousands of streets this way on a
256 MB notebook. Perhaps use a map capable receiver so that you can see
what's already on the map. And if you want to capture the info digitally in
the field, give gosmore a try.
