You're right. WTF? "OpenCycleMap", promoted on "OpenStreetMap" uses a
closed-source stylesheet? I'm sure I'm not the only who fails to comprehend
this.

What's the backstory? Has there not been a move to create a proper open
cycling map?

This is particularly annoying to me as one of my major motivations in
contributing to OSM is to work towards producing really good bike maps of
Melbourne and surrounds. I'm shocked that I can't contribute to, or tweak,
the OCM stylesheet. Must we really start a new one from scratch?
