On the other hand in some places glaciers are so large that it would
be odd not to show them on zoom 6:

It seems like the problem is that small glaciers become
disproportionally blue at smaller zoom levels so that they're easy to
confuse with lakes. Not that they're shown at z6.

But in both cases it would be useful if mapnik considered the size of
the feature in rendering it.
