[OSM-talk] San Francisco address point mass import

Hi,

I've been checking out some of the geo data available from San  
Francisco city government, and they have a shapefile of all city  
address points. Although it's necessary to provide an email address to  
access the data, and it's listed as copyright city/county of SF, the  
metadata associated with the particular file explicitly says that  
there are no access or use constraints. I'd like to add these address  
points to the map, using the Karlsruhe schema.

Specifically, I'd like to do this:

Can anyone think of any reason why it might be a bad idea?
