Hee, you can do cute stuff:

way[highway=track] { color: red; width: 2; casing-color:#444466;
casing-width:0.5; dashes: 10,15; }

A pet hate of mine has been topo maps where you're trying to follow a really
wiggly dashed line. The gaps lose so much information.
