Thanks Oj W,
I'll give it a go. I hope any of the machines I have available at this
moment can handle it =)

I checked first of the stylesheets from:
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Stylesheet
and it doesn't have any references to 'admin_level'. Also single reference
to boundary doesn't look like administrative borders.
I think I have enough information about setting up rendering and mostly
need some advise on customizing the stylesheet.
On the first stage I need:
- no country/state borders
- no borders for minor administrative units (provinces etc.)
- no labels with country names
also would really like:
- no emphasis on capital cities
for example by default on zoom level 5 only capital cities seams to get
displayed, I would like to remove them and eventually have them appear
according to their actual population and not political status.
than to balance back with some reference features
+ add emphasis on major rivers, especially on zoom levels ~5
Would really appreciate all clues on making such customizations to map
stylesheet!
BTW http://www.opencyclemap.org has no borders and no special emphasis on
capitals, anyone knows where I can find their stylesheet to compare?
