It’s not so much those just joining and getting to know the new terms,
but more that people who have been involved with OSM for a more
substantial amount of time but keep repeating their arguments over and
over.
There are some things I agree with: The contributor terms were
unsatisfatory (until they changed, I haven’t yet properly read the new
contributor terms). Other things I don’t, like jumping on every thread
saying why everything is bad (even though it’s probably a gripe with
just one part of everything).

I see two problems in the threads so far:
* The dissenters keep repeating themselves, with the same arguments
already discussed to death
This doesn’t help with:
* The dissenters have some real issues that people keep ignoring or
sidestepping. (The majority response to Australian concerns that
I’ve seen is “well that’s you’re own fault” (and yes, I have said
that previously))
There are problems on both sides.
What the moderation is *supposed* to do is prevent the flaming
continuing, and let real discussion continue.
