[OSM-talk] US College/University building polygons

Hi all,

I'm searching for a resource that has the polygons of the buildings of each
large college and university in the United States. I've done a lot of
googling and have found that some local municipalities (a few counties) have
this data, but have not found any resources that have it on a nationwide
level.

I've heard a rumor that major print road atlas companies have a central
resource they use that is in Washington DC but online searches for that have
come up short too.

I defer to the mapping experts. Are there any resources out there you can
point me to that can help me in my quest?
