One would see if an icon became available on 
http://www.sjjb.co.uk/mapicons/SJJBMapIconsv0.03/recoloured/ and then 
comment on http://trac.openstreetmap.org/ticket/1130 that an icon would 
have become available. If an icon doesn't exist yet, one could nudge 
twain47 if he could make one. Having an icon from that set would help 
greatly.

On the other hand, if you want to make a rule to add subway entrances to 
your own stylesheet/map, just have a look at the multitude of other POI 
rules in osm.xml and its include files.
