Let's try to call for a little homegrown OSM_Emergency here :

Gentlemen JOSM developers, would you be so kind to get copy and paste 
working in JOSM on Margie's Mac, please ? :)

Yeah, try to figure out how the sticky map works. Once you do, it's a 
snap to get anywhere.
