[OSM-talk] Removing ways in Potlatch

While updating the streets in my neighborhood (mostly correcting misaligned TIGER imports to match Yahoo's aerial views), I found a short street that needs to be removed from the map.  It has been closed to traffic for decades, and the pavement has now been removed and replaced by a commercial real-estate development.  Potlatch will let me reposition or lengthen the street, but won't let me remove the street.  How can I remove this short and no-longer-existing street using Potlatch?
