There's an existing project within the Wikimedia foundation to
integrate OpenStreetMap maps into wikipedia (and presumably other
Wikimedia projects). They have hardware already, and are in the
process of setting up development machines ("toolservers" in Wikimedia
term) and looking at getting map servers into the Wikimedia production
clusters.
They have a mailing list for discussions, and if it's something you're
interested in then I'd suggest joining them there.
