I added an Introduction at
http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/WikiProject_FLOSS . I didn't put very
much effort in the Introduction and I'm not sure if it describes the
WikiProject well. Maybe there is room for improvement.

On the "Project No Flash" where it says
"One major task would be to compile the potlatch so that it does not
need flash. or that it runs with gnash. It might be possible to use haxe
http://haxe.org/ to create an non flash webpage."
Would one use haxe to convert the source code of potlatch to the 'haxe
language'? (forgive me if I'm wrong, I only skimmed
http://haxe.org/doc/intro ) Then convert from the 'haxe language' to
'PHP', 'C++' or 'Javascript'. With limited knowledge I would guess
'PHP'.

I can confirm that with gnash 0.8.8. The last time I tried it, the mouse
cursor would go in various directions even if my mouse had stopped, and
it would take a lot of time for me to understand where my cursor is.
Still this is the issue. That could be because of the processing power
required and some latency issues. The cursor also sometimes disappears,
but again that could be my processor (800Mhz and 64-bit mips).

Kind Regards,
