yeah, i'll second that. it runs plain debian, a couple of more
phone-focussed OSs with X as a windowing system, and also the qtmoko
OS which is debian underneath, with a very fast qt-based phone suite.
all OSs include a decent app for browsing maps and logging gps tracks
