Dear David,
I'm sorry.
You caught me. My post earlier was off-topic. That it is
kinda-sorta-topical, with tomorrow being Remembrance Day does not
excuse my off topic post. I was planning more information for an
article and something a little closer to on-topic for OSM than, "if
you happen to be involved in both OSM and amateur radio." I let my
enthusiasm run away with me and neglected any context that might have
provided a hint of on-topic.
I was there, at McCrae House, mapping today. I have now mapped the
house, memorial garden and memorial. You should be able to see them
in the link. I've also included a couple of my photos from McCrae
House in a new article. It does, kinda-sorta tie in to OSM if you
read this article from the right angle. But mostly it's about
Remembrance Day, which is known as Veterans Day or Armistice Day in
some places.
