How about a simple page just containing a textbox for making notes on
things that need to be mapped?

(give the web-page permission to see your location, and it will show a
map to confirm where you are, plus enabling the submit-button)


I assume a simple idea like this has been implemented before? Any
success with it?


p.s. accessing the page from your desktop PC will probably show a map
of your ISP's location
