I can see your point, but:
More communication means a lot of additional work and is not something I would expect from those who handle the other parts.

I think "remove" is part of "re-map" and I agree we should wait "until acceptances have been maximised". Especially as it is not clear yet how to handle objects with mixed CC-only/CC+CT history.
That is kind of vague, but I would not want to be nailed down to any old guesstimated numbers later. Waiting until we feel that "it is time" is fine with me.
