Awesome examples in this thread.  Three I haven't seen above.

Fantastic stuff from Tom Carden, way back in 2007.  Includes "places
near Edinburgh where it's faster to take transit than drive to arrive
at 9am"  And  "Places near London where a bicycle is faster than
public transit."   Brilliant.

The Municipality of Lund (Sweden) uses OpenStreetMap to show a
selection of routes by foot, bicycle, private car and public transit,
then includes travel time (naturally) plus calories burned, and
carbon-offset per route.  Awesome.

University of Maryland pedestrian routing on campus, includes
wheechair-friendly routing.
