Dear Nic,

Do it.  Really.  If you see a topic that needs a poll, add one.  Be
the OpenStreetMap Poll-it Laureate.

You know very well, being a long time contributor to OSM, that you
don't need permission or position to write interesting code or to
create valuable tools for OSM.
