Well, I tried to build the packages for Ubuntu 10.04 now as well. It
turned out they failed at a different stage than I had expected.
Postgres/postgis is available in version 8.4 and so the new osm2pgsql
does work on lucid, (although the pbf support seems to be broken).
However, the current OSM style sheet appears to need Mapnik version
0.7.1, but lucid only has 0.7.0
For it to work on 10.04, you would need to pull in a newer version of
Mapnik.
