[OSM-talk] OSM-based community-maintained yelp-like project?

The Wikitravel community is (hopefully) in the process of migrating to
the WMF servers, which will hopefully give us more technical
capability in this area. It is frustrating to enter the coords, with
no site capability to display them.

Closer integration with OSM is certainly sought into the future, and
already is the basis for most maps on the site. The POIs are entered
into OSM first.

See http://www.wikivoyage.org/general/Migration_FAQ for more details,
and while you are there, perhaps leave your comments on the RFC at
meta.

Ian.
