I was indeed wrong that something changed in the attribution recently,
probably the recent layout change made me think so.

I do still think osm.org should set the example and also include the
attribution we ask from others. Someone implementing OSM on their
site might think "Hey osm.org doesn't have attribution / copyright, so
it's probably not needed."

Juridical it's problably right the way it is now but as you can read in the
reply, I'm not the only one who thinks it should be there.

I fiddled around with the code and it's no problem to just add it, but I'm
hesitant to submit a patch if the majority doesn't agree.

Should I set up a poll?
