What existing numbered buildings, Fred? This is the US we're talking
about, not Germany.

It's not THAT wrong, and for small lots is perfect. And yes, it's not
going to get fixed until somebody discovers that it's wrong, and
that's not going to happen until people start using the map, and
that's not going to happen until it's useful.

What if the Presets/Annotation/Addresses dialog box wasn't modal (like
the relations editor, where it lets you continue to edit), and had a
"Apply and Increment" button? Then you could go down a row of houses
(once you've verified that they're consecutively numbered), and
deposit a pre-made house with Control-V, then hit "Apply and
Increment" to store an address into it.
