that's a general problem with all kind of edits and ways of marking
the source and nature of an edit: mistakes happen. IMHO this is
neither pro nor con for any approach.

this can be solved if you are allowed to have more accounts with the same email

IMHO not, spammers could also get more email accounts, it is really
fast and easy to get one, also use-once-accounts. On the other hand
all accounts registered to the same email address could be blocked at
once, so it might even facilitate countermeasures.

actually importing from a "human mapper" account does also pollute
statistics. If there was the possibility to have more accounts for the
same email it would also be easy to filter out the duplicate/multiple
accounts to get better user numbers.

You would have had the possibility to state for each of you accounts
if it could be relicensed and whether you could sign the CTs with it.
That is one of the reasons why some data loss could have been easier
prevented with separate accounts at the last license change. For
future license changes I thought that with the CTs there would be no
more risk for the data, but then noticed the problem with imports that
had additional requirements attached (and be it only attribution), so
again there might be risk for some of the data, e.g. if we moved to
PD.

BTW: obviously you will not have 2 or more votes, because voting is by
active contributor, not by account.

cheers,
Martin
