Before re-tweeting: Could some iOS users kindly recommend one or two _best_
apps for general maps / navigation use, pls?

Yes, this is a subjective question/request. Yes, one likes something and
someone else something else, of course. .. But that's what I'm specifically
asking for as I can't check them out myself (on Android). .. And people are
asking for recommendations. A link to a wiki page listing them all with
yes/no/description of features will only confuse most non-geek users.

Ps. My favorites on Android are Maverick and OsmAnd + I also use the
MapQuest map app at times.
