[OSM-talk] man_made=quay ?

have 158 546 man_made=pier there are only 70 man_made=quay:

The page for proposed harbour features mention quays but does not even
propose a tag for them !

What sort of conspiracy against quays is going on here ?

Considering the success of man_made=pier, I propose the anointment of
the similarly modeled man_made=quay - to be applied to a way along a
riverbank or the edge of a harbour's water, and of course mentioned in
the wiki.

Does anyone here finds problems in that proposal, before I begin tagging
quays all over the place ?
