In general most image providers try to get summer images but in alpine
areas this can be difficult since the useful time frame is fairly short
in the higher altitudes and late summer is often not the time with most
stable good weatcher.

Many people mapping landcover and waterbodies in high mountain areas use
select lower resolution imagery (i.e. Landsat) in addition to high
resolution images from Bing/Mapbox for verification.

In some parts of the Alps you have also local sources with aerial photos
available which usually are from a much stricter time frame in
summer/autumn. As far as i know Andermatt is not included there
though.
