[OSM-talk] Adding notes on www.openstreetmap.org

I just closed a note made by the Phoenix zoo last week. Totally confused
me. Eventually i figured it out. They said something along the lines as
"this is are main entrance. Some guest have used the wrong entrance."

The note was on top of the main entry way into the zoo. Which had been
properly map long ago. They believed somehow that the purpose of notes on
osm was to help others in someway. Not knowing like you said, it's for
missing data or mistakes to fix. So yes oddly i have run into that.
