there's already a tendency of "mapping for the renderer" in the sense that some people prefer to use a tag that is less pertinent but rendered compared to one that isn't (yet?) rendered but perfectly fitting for the feature. We should not push this imho. There are still technical limitations (column needed for every tag that can be shown) that prevent the style from showing everything that would be desirable.
