Hi Mikel
I would like to offer a different view on community friendliness.

As a caring contributor I checked my vicinity with regard to this edit.
After all, it touches all borders. This wastes a lot of time and is not
an activity I like. It was not announced on our local mailing list
talk-ch. Therefore I find this forced edit not community friendly.

For the above reason, and reasons mentioned in other posts, I fully
support the good work of the DWG. If people go ahead irresponsibly they
should be sent back in order to keep OSM a place to contribute, and not
just fix data dumps.
