If anywhere does get established as "the place where the Maltese 
community meets", get it listed at https://openstreetmap.community/ so 
that other people know about it (there's a link at the top left that 
links to 
https://github.com/osmlab/osm-community-index/blob/main/README.md ; if 
that's too complicated, ask someone else to do it - perhaps one of the 
previous contributors).
