[OSM-talk] is this allowed ?

I asked the question wrong, OSM is not a social network, should people be allowed to register just to
 
self promote themselves or business on the map and on there profile page. and should these people
 
who have never edited, and are just there to use there page as a promotion be purged from the roles ?
