"The free wiki world map" is a slogan that we as OSM have used to 
describe ourselves, especially during the early years of the project.

If you don't like that phrase because you prefer narrow definitions of 
the words "wiki" and "map", that's certainly a valid viewpoint, but 
please don't take it out on a random scientist interested in 
understanding the OSM community. They are using a common phrase to 
describe us, they didn't make it up.
