It seems to be in the preparatory stages still. I think they've started
doing some edits, but I haven't seen any in my locality yet. (Perhaps
other Dutch mappers have more feedback?)
They did share their MapRoulette challenges which several mappers found
to contain a lot of false positives at or near junctions. Presumably
because right turns may push the GPS-trace outside of the virtual
bounding box of the OSM way at larger intersections.
Part of TomTom's approach seems to be an attempt to motivate mappers to
do their challenges and fix issues first — perhaps to filter out false hits.
