[OSM-talk] Could JOSM be dumbed down?

I don't think JOSM needs to be dumbed down, but the help files need to
be expanded & upgraded.
Many are for older versions of the programs where the dialog boxes shown
are outdated. V. confusing.
In general, I believe English language wikis should be written by those
who's primary language is English.
In your example, the video needs an audio commentary to explain what is
about to happen. It's really hard to follow the cursor, especially when
it's not moved directly to the next place, but just wiggled about. It
also needs to a show a visual cue, such as an expanding circle, when the
cursor is pressed.
