[OSM-talk] Call for contributions: restriction/recommendation symbols on destination signs

Hello, there!

I'm drafting a proposal about destination signs: sometimes, there are symbols that warn the driver about restrictions ahead or, conversely, that a given route should be preferred if his/her vehicle matches some characteristics.

For instance, on this picture (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Panneaux_D21b_D922E1.jpg), HGV above 12t should not turn left to reach the center of the town, and HGV should turn right to reach whatever destination they want (« Toutes directions » literally means "All directions").

I've found a complete nomenclature of such signs for France, but don't have examples in other countries. If the destination signs of your country show such restriction/recommendation symbols, could you please give me example pictures with the meaning of the displayed symbol? That could greatly help me to improve my proposal.
