[OSM-talk] Coastline update process seems to be broken

Ok, I forgot that there is this special "feature" that to big coastline
edits are forbidden.

Is anybody actively watching these issues?
Or is it necessary, that someone is complaining about the stuck update
process?
And... is this "feature" really a good one? Wouldn't it be better of
just have a "please review" page instead of stopping the process?

I would find the links as stated by Mateusz very helpful!
At least, it would be very helpful, when the update page would tell of
what was the reason for not updating (without searching on other pages).

The big edit in Russia:
In this case I would say, that the edit is a bad one, since the region
is surely "sea" and not "internal water".
But... I'm not sure if I may "revert" this edit!
I personally would find it nice to have a "permission" via this mailing
list. Or someone else is doing it...

@Jochen: I'm also very busy right now and can only do some own coastline
checks and fixes. Sorry for bothering you...
