[OSM-talk] OSMF Affiliation Focus Group Discussion: Thematic and non-geographical groups

Dear community,

As part of our ongoing work on the OSMF Affiliation Models, we’re excited
to invite thematic and non-geographical groups and organizations to
participate in a focus group discussion. This initiative stems from earlier
brainstorming sessions, and we’re eager to engage with stakeholders to help
shape the future of OSMF affiliations.

Session Date: 26th April, 12:00 UTC

Objective:
Gain insights into the backgrounds, interests, and challenges faced by
thematic and non-geographical organizations when affiliating with OSMF

Identify opportunities for collaboration and mutual support between OSMF
and these groups to promote OSM

Explore potential improvements to the OSMF Affiliation Models to better
serve thematic/non-geographical organizations

We encourage you to suggest any organizations we should invite or any
topics you’d like to discuss. Additionally, we’re planning to organize a
separate focus group for geographical and informal local community groups
in the near future, so stay tuned!
