I imagine there isn't just one case, but here are the ones I know of:
a first part made up of a corridor in a building tunnel -> 
indoor=corridor + building or building:part like we do for corridors 
linking 2 buildings on either side of a street
a mobile part that will stick to the aircraft door : this part has a 
variable geometry. at best you can make a way with the minimum length
or make a knot.
I think the footway is wrong because it's indoor.
