Thanks for your help Volker,
It is getting more fun by the hour, didn't expected that there was so much more to it.
So basically Bing isn't very usable here. I can get the hand of some geotiff. So I go and check them with the Bing imagery. Further good tip to use Strava heatmap.
I have moved the pier accordingly my gps data of 4 div mobile devices. Will check it also with the Strava heatmap later.
Did you complain with Bing about the alignment or did just got better, and how did you verify that.
