[Teachosm] Summertime activities

Hello list,
It's been relatively quiet here for awhile, so I thought I'd give an update
on an activity I've been involved with and solicit your input.

Geography Awareness Week[0] takes place every November and I'm working with
an assorted group drawn from NatGeo, Assoc Amer Geographers, and geographic
educators to include a large OpenStreetMap component in this year's event.
The event takes place 16-22 Nov and this year's theme is "The Future of
Food".  General info on the GAW page, or follow @lovegeography on Twitter.
I've started a wiki page[1] to consolidate ideas and venues for events.

It would be great to have your energy & expertise behind this event. Please
consider what we can do as a community to raise the profile of OSM as a
platform for geographic education. Then go and add your $00.02 to the wiki.
