In my case, dust at first also appeared mildly. However, when I looked at the actual metal grating / fins at the outlets using a torch, maybe 1/4 was clogged. Even that may not sound much, but since these thin metal fins at the outlets do the actual job of the cooling, as being attached to the copper heatpipes transporting the heat from the processor to the cooling fans, even such a relatively mild clogging was enough to cause overheating in my laptop (which has dual fan setup due to the graphics processor). As I already wrote, this is a clear sign these HQ laptops are operating at the very limits of cooling capacity when fully throttled.
