[Tile-serving] [openstreetmap/osm2pgsql] When importing from planet file can I import specific zoom range e.g. 1-11 ? (#857)

Hi
Is it possible when i import the data from the planet file, to tell osm2pgsql to only import data from a specific zoom range? I want to create tiles only from the zoom range 1-11, and it would save both time and  resources if could just import those zoom levels.
