[Tile-serving] [openstreetmap/osm2pgsql] New "flex" backend (#1036)

The complex interaction between Lua and C++ code (multiple phases, storing/retrieving data, marking objects for later processing) made me wonder if you had planned any kind of debugging/troubleshooting option for people writing Lua scripts?
