[Tile-serving] [openstreetmap/osm2pgsql] Avoid notice noise about geom validity (#902)

I need to test this on a full planet import, I didn't have tests that triggered the noise notices.

I know I could construct a geom that is valid in OSM but when transformed to the target projection is invalid, but I'd rather wait a day and do another import.

I did have a go trying to trigger it with projection weirdness, but didn't manage it.
