[Tile-serving] disabling caching in mod_tile/renderd

I am trying to completely avoid the disk cache mechanism in my tile
rendering setup due to the nature of the layers being rendered and the
presence of a cache layer in another part of the serving chain.

Ideally every request received from mod_tile should be rendered, but I
haven't found a solution other than periodically delete all the rendered
tiles on disk and restart renderd.
Is there a simpler way to do it?
