    that sounds about right, for me, with half the cores, I get 24h
importing Europe (~19GiB .pbf), not counting creating indices for
rendering. Then, the more data you import, the more difficult it gets, I
think. What I'm trying to say is that importing might not be linear with
the .pbf size. With osm2pgsql (not sure you're using that) there is only
a part of th importing that works in parallel, so more cpus won't help
much there.
