>From your mentioning of `/osml10n/openstreetmap-carto-hstore-only-l10n.lua` I assume you are using https://github.com/giggls/osml10n/ . Chances are the problems are related to that Lua config in some way. Please try with one of the Lua configs provided with osm2pgsql and see whether you have the same problem. If not, please ask in that repository for help.
