[Tile-serving] [openstreetmap/mod_tile] DEBUG messages are not visible under systemd (Issue #317)

I use the master branch currently. When renderd is running under systemd DEBUG messages are not logged anymore. I always used the messages that contain "DONE" to quickly see how far my tile process is.
Is there a way to turn them on when running under systemd? I quickly checked the src/g_logger.c and I don't think there is because only ERROR and INFO messages are logged through journald and the rest by default but it's hard to understand what the default is and how to increase the loglevel in case of renderd under systemd.

Also I am not sure if this a bug or an undocumented feature.
