[Tile-serving] [osm2pgsql-dev/osm2pgsql] Plans to add 'spherical_length' in v2.0? (Discussion #2177)

Looking through the list of geometry object functions in https://osm2pgsql.org/doc/manual.html#geometry-objects-in-lua, I wondered if there are any plans to a 'spherical_length' as a function of geometry objects in v2.0 of osm2pgsql. With 'spherical_area' already available, it feels like a missing function and natural extension of the capabilities.
